About the Position: The incumbent will serve as an Operations Specialist for the United States Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) with duty at the CONUS Replacement Center (CRC), Ft Bliss Texas.

Duties

Establish overall operations plans and programs and coordinates with CRC staff for issues related to the Africa Command (AFRICOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR) deployments, considering directives and materials issued by higher authority. Provide mobilization assistance/support for Soldiers and small units or detachments deploying to overseas locations in Europe and Africa as replacement personnel. Develop correspondence on command temporary change of station, deployment policies and rotational unit command visitors to include briefings, information papers, and fact sheets on matters relating to deployment of soldiers in support of missions. Provide advice and guidance in the development of CRC short and long range SETAF-AF mobilization and contingency plans. Identify and track SETAF-AF individual augmentation CONOPS requirements issues and lessons learned.

  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.

This is the definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level.
