As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.This position serves a Federal Aviation Administration Logistic Center Sub Team Manager in the Product Services Group.

Duties

This is a leadership position within the FAA Logistics Center (FAALC) that is designed to ensure logistic support activities are completed with the highest quality of products and services. This is an influential role that directly supports the safe and efficient operations of national and international systems and provides competitive business solutions for our customers.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)

  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Successful completion of security investigation may be required.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: experience providing guidance on management of supply chain day to day activities related to acquisitions, life cycle management, material management, franchise fund agreements and interagency agreements; experience hiring, setting work priorities, assigning workflow tasks, monitoring and evaluating performance, coaching and developing employee capabilities, approving leave, awards/recognitions and take or recommending corrective/disciplinary actions as appropriate.Applicants should include examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.ANDIn addition to the Minimum Qualifications, the following has been determined to be a Quality Ranking Factor for this position. This means well qualified candidates will have demonstrated the following:Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): Well-Qualified candidates must demonstrate Knowledge of Material Management in a Franchise Fund Environment, and demonstrate experience with Logistical Supply Chain (i.e. storage and shipping of goods and services) and Life Cycle Management to include integration, operations, purchasing and distribution within their resume.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
