You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY/OFFICE AUTOMATION) in the INSTALLATION PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION CENTER of MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT.
Duties
You will process military personnel actions using systems such as Unit Diary Marine Integrated Personnel Service, Marine Corps Total Force System, Marine Corps Training Information Management System, Document Tracking Management Service.
You will perform a variety of procedural and substantive clerical work in one or more military areas.
You will manage military administrative functional areas of personnel, manpower, general, and operational; interpreting and applying military personnel, pay, and administration policies and procedures; identify processes improvement opportunities.
You will perform technical functions related to service record maintenance.
You will prepare or endorse various types of orders and correspondence.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This position is a Night Shift from 1800 to 0430, Mon-Thurs, 10 Hours Shift.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing military personnel systems to provide human resources and office support functions for an organization.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
