The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Financial Management Administration Specialist in the Financial Operations Flight.
Duties
Monitors and tracks the progress of military and civilian FM member's individual achievements to meet certification requirements for all FM Personnel
Performs Audit Readiness Support. Supports populous in audit readiness
Acts as installation focal point for Installation Report of Survey (ROS) guidance and procedures.
Plans, and manages overall program for quality assessment of Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) certifications

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-09, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes comprehensive and detailed knowledge of accounting practices, theories, methods, and techniques relative to the flow of financial information, system processing and the control of funds necessary to resolve accounting and financial problems and accomplish assignments. Detailed knowledge and skill in the use of source documents and listings to
resolve accounting problems and accomplish assignments and listings to research and resolve financial problem/issues. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-09 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-11 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of commonly used Financial Management AFI's, methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes.
2. Knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS) processing concepts and Air Force Instruction 65-117, Administration of the AF FM Certification Program, along with DoDI 1300.26 to accomplish component administrator duties.
3. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to gain cooperation from others through tact, courtesy, and diplomacy.
4. Ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, analyze facts, draw conclusions, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations, devise solutions or identify trends.
5. Knowledge of organizational missions, functions, goals, objectives, work processes, and operations.
???????6. Knowledge and skill in applying and adapting analytical and evaluative techniques to issues and studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
