About the Position: You will serve as a USACE Logistics Center Property Book Officer (PBO) providing centralized property management and PBO services to two or more field delivery points (division HQS, districts, laboratories, FOAs).

Duties

Evaluates the efficiency of supply programs. Resolves difficult issues and problems in the logistics program. Establishes accountable property policy through interpretation and implementation of directives from higher authority. Maintains formal accounting records and accounts. Determines correct authorization, requisitioning, receipt and issue of property book equipment. Establishes utilization criteria and standards to effectively determine current and future equipment requirements.

OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: business management; finance; supply management; or business administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
