About the Position: Serves as the supply manager for a USACE Logistics Activity in support of a district/laboratory. Maintains accountability of the district/laboratory property book consisting of Government-owned equipment by assisting the Division Property Book Officer (PBO) in the administration of local property management systems, programs, and policies consistent with USACE system-wide practices.

Duties

Maintain data in automated property management systems. Utilize supply regulations in inventory control and management. Monitor usage transactions to track the procurement, storage, and disposition of equipment and property. Develop and/or recommend new or revised policies related to stock control issues.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Incumbent must possess a valid state driver's license.
• Business Travel / TDY is up to 20%.

Qualifications

This is a Term position. Current permanent Army employee, position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment NTE (not-to-exceed). Temporary promotions or reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of (5) five years. Non-Army employees, position is a Term appointment NTE (not-to-exceed) 13 months up to (4) four years that may be extended up to eight years. If filled as a time limited appointment by a current permanent Army employee, you will have return rights to your permanent position. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Logistics Management, Supply Program Management or Inventory Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.
