Job opening: Director Office of Grant Policy & Management

Salary: $155 700 - 183 500 per year
Employment Type: Full-time
The incumbent is assigned primary responsibility for ensuring uniform grant policy, federal compliance, and management throughout the agency; developing, recommending, and implementing pre and post-award grant policy, and fiscal grant requirements, including those associated with electronic grants and payment systems.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must include detailed information as it relates to the responsibilities and specialized experience for this position. GS-15: To be eligible at the GS-15 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level; You must meet at least three of the following specialized experience as: (1) Expertise in Project Management and Coordination; (2) Ability to direct, lead, and improve a grant management program; (3) Interpreting and applying grants management regulations and developing related policies and procedures; (4) Communicating grants management policy with stakeholders, and the representation of data; (5) Applies innovative approaches to simplify grant management processes and improve customer experiences. NOTE: Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. NOTE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education

Education is not a substitute for specialized experience at the GS-15 grade level.
