This HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) is located within the Air National Guard at a Geographically Separated Unit (GSU) and is part of the CA 149 IS.

Duties

THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION . The primary purpose of the HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY), GS-0203-7, is to organize, develop, and administer locally authorized military human resources actions for the unit and to provide counseling and assistance to assigned personnel and their dependents. Forwards additional human resources actions to appropriate host Military Personnel Flight (MPF). This position may be tasked to perform a variety of administrative and other duties that support the military human resources function.

Qualifications

HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY), GS-0203-7: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-06 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Experience in human resources business elements and can discuss terminology, concepts, merit principles, and issues; Experience in using reference and resource materials; Experience in operating a computer, utilizing multiple computer programs, and performing keyboard functions. Education

Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: 1 full year of graduate level education or Superior academic achievement.
