You will serve as a Supervisor Inventory Management Specialist in the MRO Logistics Group, Industrial Supply Department, and Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Duties

You will serve as a technical authority for inventory management, material management, and logistics support for assigned branches and shops. You will plan and administer programs, systems, and procedures essential for a successful Command Asset management program. You will analyze work and inventory requirements within the organization. You will formulate and adjust long-range schedules, priorities, deadlines and budgets, while coordinating such efforts with internal and external personal. You will interpret policies and procedures promulgated by higher authorities to provide technical guidance to others. You will monitor the quality of input and output of automated inventory management systems. You will advise management, customers, personnel, and associated program stakeholders on difficult problems by proposing options and alternatives. You will assign work assignments to subordinates, based on organizational priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, and/or capabilities of employees. You will supervise and perform official supervisory responsibilities for assigned subordinates.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
