This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Field Operations - Region II in New York, NY. The incumbent serves as the primary assistant to the District Director and shares in and assists the District Director in all phases of the district's operating programs.
Duties
As the Deputy District Director, you will actively engage in the following duties:
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. Citizen
- You must successfully complete a background investigation.
- Valid Driver's license is required.
- You may be required to serve a one year supervisory probationary period.
Qualifications
GS-14: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: developing and communicating the strategy and direction of a team; and leading or supervising the day-to-day operations of a team which must include business development, marketing and outreach; and one of the following: financial, lending, procurement, economic development or human resource matters; and experience must demonstrate leading individuals for achieving team goals and objectives.
