ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This is a challenging opportunity to work with analysts from DIA, the NGIC, and NGA in one location. The work supports multiple end-users, from the war fighter to Congress, depending on the nature of the project and what product type comes from it. Qualifications
MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). Demonstrated experience synthesizing and analyzing information from spectral imagery data, to create detailed reports.2. Demonstrated experience developing and delivering information (briefings, etc.) to audiences of various technical understanding.3. Demonstrated experience working independently and/or as a contributing member of a team.EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Imagery Science, Mathematics, Physical Science, Remote Sensing, Geography, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline that included 24 semester hours in Physical Science and/or related Engineering Science such as Dynamics, Electronics, Mechanics, and Properties of Materials. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A that included at least 24 semester hours in Physical Science and/or related Engineering Science, plus experience that involves processing, analyzing, and exploiting multibanded imagery to extract intelligence and geospatial information, or a related field that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: Near visual acuity of 20/60 or better with or without corrective lensesDESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired: 1. The applicant should have a solid understanding of blended Geospatial and imagery analyst skills, tradecraft, or applications. Analyze data and datasets to investigate trends or anomalies, establish relationships, or predict future patterns among events. Interpret the results of analyses to reach conclusions and develop recommendations.2. Develop new insights into situations; question conventional approaches; encourage new ideas and innovations; design and implement new or cutting-edge programs/processes.3. The applicant will take responsibility for his or her work, set and meet priorities, organize and utilize time and resources efficiently and effectively to achieve desired results, consistent with the organization's goals and objectives.
