This position is located in the e-Discovery Group (eDG), Legal Information Technology Unit, in the Legal Division. The eDG is responsible for guiding the Legal Division’s electronic discovery (“eDiscovery”) and other information technology initiatives.

Duties
-Serves as a technical eDiscovery specialist with responsibility for locating, organizing and producing electronically stored information (ESI) in response to investigations, litigation-related discovery requests, subpoenas, inter-agency document requests, congressional inquiries and Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”) requests.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here.
To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 11 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as 1) providing eDiscovery support in investigations or litigation across various phases of the eDiscovery process, including the organization and maintenance of electronically stored information (ESI) through the use of litigation support technology such as Clearwell and Relativity; 2) utilizing at least three of the following eDiscovery software applications: Relativity, Veritas eDiscovery Platform (Clearwell), Case Dynamics, EnCase, Nuix, Microsoft 365 Core or Advanced eDiscovery, or Trial Director; and 3) assisting with training legal professionals in the operation of eDiscovery automated litigation support systems.
