As a Supervisory Energy Management & Marketing Specialist, you will serve as Supervisor of the Real Time Merchant Desk of the Desert Southwest Region (DSW) Energy Management and Marketing Office (DSW-EMMO). This position has primary responsibility for directing 24-hour merchant marketing services and related resource planning, scheduling, and accounting activities for DSW. This is not a remote position. The selectee will be required to be physically present at the Phoenix, AZ duty location.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the next lower grade level in the federal service … At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (AD-4 or GS-12) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as progressively responsible experience listed in two or more of the following listed below: 1) Power system generation scheduling; or 2) Power system generation marketing; or 3) Extensive experience in energy accounting procedures, statistics, or economics related to power scheduling, rates or billing; or 4) Operational experience with an Independent Transmission System Operator or a Regional Transmission Organization
