About the Position: Works under general supervision of the Director of the Civilian Senior Leader Management Office (CSLMO), who outlines program objectives and provides policy guidance.

Duties

Advise organizations regarding their current and/or projected HR allocations. Supervise subordinate staff responsible for a full range of personnel actions. Establish work standards to evaluate subordinate performance of employees. Provide guidance on human resources subjects such as classification and staffing. Evaluate the effectiveness of operations to ensure mission is accomplished. Streamline initiatives to improve the recruitment/placement process.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service which includes providing technical advice and assistance on all aspects of senior executive recruitment; recommending changes to business practices and/or regulations; managing executive resource programs; providing expert advice on all human resources matters to include classification, staffing, processing personnel actions and benefits/entitlements; and making decisions on all issues involving assigned staff including technical problems, performance ratings. This specialized experience is equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the federal service. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Human Capital ManagementManaging Human ResourcesPersonnel and Human ResourcesTechnical Credibility Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
