Duties
Serves as the production manager for a Defense Logistics Agency Human Resources Operations site.
Responsible for the technical and administrative supervision of the production management and training aspects of HR services -
(continued)- including recruitment and placement, RPA processing, new employee training and oversight, and Delegated Examining Unit (DEU).
Analyzes HR Metrics, to include, but not limited to, Time to Fill, Pay Actions on Time to Payroll, Customer Satisfaction Surveys, to ensure overall health of the impacted programs/services, and/or identify areas of improvement.
Ensures that all related HR policies and procedures are consistently applied by customer teams and that metrics for timeliness and quality are met.
Ensures workload surges are shifted to expedite all stages of supported processes.
Integrates findings from training and auditing to develop improved plans and processes to increase the quality
and productivity of office operations.
Performs the full range of supervisory functions over assigned activities.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist your resume and supporting documentation must support:A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Providing advice and guidance on work methods, practices, and procedures for processing Federal civilian personnel actions.
Identifying quality control and data integrity issues, to include developing appropriate corrective actions and/or measures.
Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating recruitment and placement programs for effective use with customer recruitment initiatives
Reviewing new enhancements, changes, and modifications to automated HR systems, such as USAStaffing and providing guidance to team members.
Analyzing hiring metrics to identify areas in need of improvement, or potential treads, for an HR operational team or serviced customer.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
