This position is located in the Division of Complex Institution Supervision and Resolution (CISR), Office of the Director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides the Senior Deputy Director with expert assistance and advice on technical and policy matters.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. For the CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing direction and coordination across organizational lines; researching and recommending solutions to technical issues regarding Large, Complex Financial Institutions (LCFIs).
For the CG-15: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 14 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing direction and coordination across organizational lines; researching and recommending solutions to technical issues regarding Large, Complex Financial Institutions (LCFIs) and serving as a principal assistant or technical advisor on matters related to supervision or resolution readiness for LCFIs.
