You will serve as a Antiterrorism Action Officer in the Plans, Policies and Operations Department, Security Division, Mission Assurance Branch of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will coordinate the antiterrorism program requirements such as risk management planning, training/exercises, resource application, assessments and inspections.
You will serve as a subject matter expert for antiterrorism, plan and coordinate annual security conference, planning and execution of training initiatives.
You will provide detailed written reports identifying physical and procedural deficiencies and solutions for the improvement of security and recommendations for antiterrorism.
You will participate in inspections and assessments to ensure readiness in antiterrorism.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete Level II Antiterrorism Officer Training Course.
- You will be required to complete Emergency Operations Center Training Course.
- You will be required to complete FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 Training Course.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical advice, planning, training and coordination of Antiterrorism Programs..
