About the position: This position will be assigned to the This position will be assigned to the Eglin Aero Club.
Duties
Provides administrative support of the management, and operational requirements for the Aero Club. Gathers, compiles, monitors, and maintains records pertaining to the Aero Club administrative activities (paper and electronic). Prepares daily financial reports to include costs, sales, supply expenses and other financial information. Orders, maintains and stocks various Aero Club resale merchandise Receives, logs, and routes incoming mail, maintains necessary suspense controls. Types correspondence, reports, and other materials from rough draft, clean or corrected copy, including statistical and financial data. Composes correspondence from brief verbal or written instructions by the manager. Proofreads and edits outgoing correspondence for correctness of format, spelling, grammar, addresses, enclosures, and attachments. Answers incoming telephone calls, makes tentative appointments for manager and arranges club member safety meetings, as required. Responsible for maintaining all official administrative files in accordance with Air Force regulations and guidance. Administers club membership accounts to include registration, duescollection and record maintenance. Assists manager with all audits. Proctors FAA Computer Assisted Testing Service (CATS) and COMIRA testing, following specific procedures and established methods. Assists instructors with administrative support of FAA Part 141 Flight School and with Veterans Administration (VA) student records and finances. Provides assistance to customers with Aero Club Information and flight training requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have responsible experience in clerical or office work which has provided knowledge of office automation software, correspondence formats, grammar and spelling. Experience must have provided the ability to perform research, select and arrange material, compose correspondence and maintain organized files. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) programs. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. Familiarization with general aviation operations is desirable. Successful completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation is required.
