This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing,within the PLATE PRINTING DIVISION WCF. As a Plate Printer Assistant Supervisor, you will serve as the Plate Printer Assistant Supervisor and are fully responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating the plate printing program of an assigned printing section. The incumbent ensures that acceptable quality and quantity standards are met and that accurate accountability and established internal control procedures are maintained.

Duties

As a Plate Printer Assistant Supervisor, you will: Schedule work to be accomplished during a specific shift and provide for effective use of Plate Printers and Printing Plant Workers in a most efficient and productive manner. Assign work in accordance with work priorities or revise priorities, when necessary. Resolve technical problems and/or consult with primary Plate Printer Supervisor on technical problems to avoid delays and bottlenecks. Serve as a liaison with other production and production support supervisors regarding work coordination and problems in progress. Foster compliance with collective bargaining agreements and equal employment opportunity policy.
