About the Position: Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment not to exceed 5 years by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions or reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition. Position may be filled as a temporary appointment not to exceed 3 years, if candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. Temporary appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three years.

Duties

Coordinate technical assistance and fielding teams and serve as a point of contact for system fieldlings. Participate in the planning, directing, evaluating, briefing, and coordinating of logistical actions to support the management of specified electronic communication or weapon control systems, equipment, and other designated depot level projects. Coordinate with stakeholders the development of statements of work and memorandums of agreement. Plan, coordinate and evaluate the logistics actions required to support programs for repair, overhaul, initial fabrication and production run, and system and component modifications for electronic equipment and systems.

Requirements

• Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Up to 25% Business Travel.
• Must obtain and maintain a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute within two (2) years.

OR Education: Completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position such as Business Management, Supply, Operations or Logistics Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
