You will serve as a Branch Manager in the Theater Undersea Warfare C5I Systems Division of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).

Duties

You will provide leadership to the Information Technologies workforce toward the planning, implementation, and execution of technical projects and programs. You will lead and endorse Branch strategic initiatives aligned to either Division or Department goals. You will lead and communicate status and issues associated with information technology and cybersecurity to other organizations. You will manage engineers, scientists, and information technology professionals in such functions as systems development, sustainment and support. You will develop measurements to assess and/or improve the health of competencies/functions assigned to the branch and ensure their continued relevance to the Navy's current and future missions and mission areas.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing information technology systems (e.g., planning, executing, assessing) to maintain technical projects and programs for software and related systems. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
