You will serve as a Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Property Management Department of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Logistics Center (NSLC), Keyport Division, Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Mechanicsburg, PA (NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA) in San Diego, CA.
Duties
You will lead the execution of assigned functions and taskings; serving as a technical and operational point of contact for material management officials and NSLC managers regarding the delivery of products and services.
You will perform the full range of supervisory/personnel management functions to include evaluating performance.
You will provide technical guidance in the application of supply management policies and operational guidance regarding methods, procedures.
You will monitor changes in customer requirements, technological and operational developments, and logistics support delivery systems to conceptualize and test new approaches and tools.
You will enforce material management policies to ensure the warehouses are compliant with Navy's Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness.
You will coordinate efforts with NSLC managers and supply management program officials and customers to organize unit's work.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 pay band (GS-09/10 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing supply and inventory management using Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to ensure production operations requirements are met. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include analyzing performance metrics and develop corrective actions to improve material management processes; resolving difficult material logistics issues and problems involving supply processes, work methods, supply data management, or day-to-day operational procedures; supervising employees while teaching, coaching, and mentoring; determining objectives, setting priorities, and ensuring sound management processes and procedures.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree;
OR
An LL.M. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled;
