You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the AVIATION SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of HELICOPTER MARITIME STRIKE WING PAC. SALARY RANGE: For the GS-07: $52,912 - $68.785 For the GS-09: $64,722 - $84,135

Duties

You will investigate problem and solution for suspended records and reprocess into the system accordingly. You will act as the Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR) manager. You will perform quarterly QA Reviews, attend meetings, gather supply information and documentation, compile data, provide statistical analysis, and prepare management reports. You will make recommendations to supply management personnel on procedural development and changes to improve functional operations. You will originate and revise Aviation Supply Department directives as assigned. You will interface with other commands to include Command, Navy Regional Southwest (CNRSW) departments and personnel to consult and obtain information, coordinate procedural changes, and to gain concurrences on subject matter being addressed. You will be responsible for updating the Aviation Supply Department records that enable the department to provide automated support to its tenant squadrons and customers. You will monitor input/output of assigned programs, investigate discrepancies discovered and local trouble reports submitted by customers. You will gather and verify supply data, conduct tests, evaluate and analyze results, determine possible solutions, and initiate program trouble reports.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing supply program operations by troubleshooting supply program data to identify deficiencies and develop recommendations for enhancing logistical supply operations. For the GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support for a supply logistics program by utilizing automated supply systems to gather data and develop reports for management to improve supply operations. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

For the GS-09 Grade level:

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree.

Successful completion of 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
~OR~
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D., that is related to the position being filled.
~OR~
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.


For the GS-07 Grade level:

Successful completion of 1 full year of graduate level education
~OR~
Successful completion of bachelor's degree withsuperior academic achievement
~OR~
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience
