Serves as Administrative Lead in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Central Region, Office of Policy, International Affairs & Environment (APL), Office of National Engagement & Regional Administration (ARA) and directly supports the Regional Administrator and reports to the Deputy Regional Administrator (DRA). The incumbent plans and executes internal and external programs and serves as the working level liaison between the Staff Specialists, the Lines of Business, and HQ Offices.
Duties
Oversees a variety of administrative support programs such as FOIA, records management, property inventory and annual data calls.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- A financial disclosure must be signed for appointment to this position.
- This position is not remotely sited and not 100% telework
Qualifications
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G, FG/GS-11 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience for this position is: Experience in (1) supporting senior managers and/or executives in the area of travel, calendar management, meeting scheduling and facilitation, and deliverable tracking; (2) the application of analytical techniques to evaluate and implement methods pertaining to administrative functions; (3) monitoring, tracking, and identifying discrepancies, and recommending solutions involving organization administrative functions such as employee onboarding/offboarding, correspondence tracking, and cross-functional alignment; and (4) interpreting, carrying out, and documenting policies and procedures in the area of records management, property management, and/or FOIA inquiries.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Please ensure you answer all questions and follow all instructions carefully.
