Duties
Serves as the Real Property Officer/Accountable Property Officer to the Region.
Responsible to oversee, update, and maintain Real Property and Accountable Property accounts.
Serves as technical advisor to region activities and staff on property management policies and directives.
Provides technical guidance to region personnel and other regional points of contact, both Federal and private sector, regarding the Property Plant and Equipment (PPE) program.
Plans and develops policies for the overall supply/property management operation, including, but not limited to, procedures, stock control, storage, issue, disposal and accountability.
Provides guidance to DLA Energy Field Commanders on coordination, development, and implementation of Activity policy directives concerning the PPandE program.
Maintains complete and current knowledge of all applicable Federal, DOD, DLA and relevant Service- specific regulations.
Conducts surveys, inspections and inventories to ensure compliance with policy and directives and apprises operating officials of detected deficiencies and prescribes corrective action.

Qualifications
To qualify for a General Supply Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Oversee, update and maintains Real Property accountability, financial reporting, cataloging, inventory management, and utilization; Conducting surveys and inventories of Fuel Facilities to determine Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) eligibility requirements; and Preparing documentation in support of the Host-Tenant Support Agreements.
