This position is located in the Office of the Administrator, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).The employee serves as the Special Assistant in the Office of the Administrator to the Administrator, Deputy Administrator, or Executive Director (Principal).

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience:
To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include:
Experience analyzing policies, procedures, and programs to produce recommendations to senior management and stakeholder leaders.
Advising staff and Senior Management on programs, initiatives, issues, and conflicts to formulate findings that will improve program effectiveness and efficiency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge Management - Knowledge of the value of collected information and the methods of sharing that information throughout an organization.
