You will serve as a Maintenance Mechanic in the MCAS BEAUFORT SC.
Duties
You will work alone or as a member of a work crew at a work site which involves construction, alteration, repair, or modification of items and structures.
You will plan and complete projects from initial layout to final assembly or installation.
You will install, repair, or replace incandescent, high intensity discharge and fluorescent lighting fixtures.
You will work from building plans blueprints, and sketches to plan and lay out the routing, placement, slant, slope and proper operation of systems equipment.

I have the ability to install, modify, and repair new and existing high-pressure piping systems and equipment such as steam heating; steam generation; steam generators; flash and expansion tanks; condensate, vacuum, and circulation pumps; and radiators.
I have the ability to work form building plans, blueprints, and sketches to plan and lay out the routing, placement, pitch, elevation, pressure reduction, expansion, and operation of various piping systems and equipment. Installs, modifies, and repairs systems like those mentioned above by setting up system routes, placing and cutting route openings. placing hangers for proper pitch and elevation, and determining and installing such things as risers, flexible branches, expansion joints, pumps, gauges, and pressure regulators in the combination needed to support pressures of the systems and that insure the proper operation of the systems.
I have the ability install, modify, and repair new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems and equipment, such as sewage, water, oil, and gas distribution systems, hydrants, water mains, water closets, lavatories, showers, sinks, dish washing machines, unit gas heaters, stoves, and air compression equipment.
I have the ability work from building plans blueprints, and sketches to plan and lay out the routing, placement, slant, slope, fall, and proper operation of systems and equipment Installs, modifies, and repairs systems like those mentioned above by locating and tapping main lines, setting up system routes, placing and cutting route openings, placing hangers for proper level and slope, and determining and installing valves, traps, and unions needed for proper operation of systems.
I have the ability inspect, repairs, and tests plumbing fixtures and, fittings.
Uses planning, layout, and construction skills to manufacture items and systems with
dovetailed seams, set-in-bottom seams, burred-bottom seams, or wired or lock seams.
I have the ability, as required, occasionally operate various types and sizes of equipment, or drive
trucks for which qualified and licensed.
Knowledge of various high-pressures piping systems and associated equipment.
