As a Program Analyst, you are involved in strategic planning initiatives that drive positive business actions. You will gather and analyze data that helps management make strategic business recommendations. Program Analysts help GSA influence customer solutions across the federal government.Location of Positions: Chicago IL and Atlanta GA
Duties
At GSA, our Program/Management Analyst will have the chance to perform a wide variety of analytical assignments in the form of projects, research, and other initiatives that impact a large variety of GSA’s diversified programs. Work in this field will include: research and investigation of new and improved business and management practices which include the following:

Please Note- The salary listed in this announcement is based on the Atlanta GA locality pay scale, if the position is filled in another locality pay area, the corresponding pay table would be used. The locality pay for each geographic area: 2023 OPM General Schedule Pay Tables.GS-9 Level - The GS-9 salary range starts at $60,314.00 per year. Generally, first time appointees to Federal civilian service have their salary set at the beginning rate of the grade for which they are selected; unless prior approval has been received to adjust the salary based on superior qualifications of the applicant. Salary will be based upon the location where you are selected.Specialized Experience: is experience in research and investigation of new and improved business and management practices which included the following: assisting in conducting studies of statistical, descriptive, or evaluative information, materials, and data; assisting in the preparation and delivery of briefings to management and/or senior staff employees on study findings and recommendations; and interpretation and application of acquisition regulations and principle OREducation: Applicants must have a Master's or equivalent graduate degree such as LL.B. or J.D., or 2 academic years of progressively higher level graduate education in a related field. ORCombination of Education & Specialized Experience: Applicants must have a combination of graduate level education (beyond the Bachelor's Degree) and specialized experience (as described above) that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
