This position is located in the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI), Affirmative Employment, Diversity and Inclusion (AEDI) Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of educating a diverse audience of internal and external customers and the public regarding OMWI functions, programs, and initiatives.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here.
CG-12 Level: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 11 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing technical guidance on affirmative employment, diversity and inclusion policies and procedures; and analyzing and monitoring agency policies and programs to identify problems and recommending corrective courses of action.
CG-13 Level: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience preparing affirmative employment, diversity and inclusion policies and procedures; and developing and implementing agency strategic plans and programs to eliminate DEIA barriers in employment.
