In this position you will provide routine and non-routine administrative support to the 445 Test Squadron.

Ensures unit program compliance with regulations, laws, policies and 445 Test Squadron Commander directives
Identifies policy on all administrative matters, including but not limited to, staffing documents for review/signature through higher command levels, applying technical writing and proofreading expertise in issues affecting organizational policies and objectives
Advises Squadron leadership on daily management items related to operational and support impacts
Supports the overall technical/administrative functions, manages and monitors unit suspense actions

- Telework may be authorized, up to 40% telework possible (must reside in the local area)
- Obtain and maintain security clearance
- This is a designated Drug Testing Position

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support positions located https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=Group-Standards
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-03 or equivalent to the next lower grade GS-13 in the Federal Service. Specialized experiences is evaluating and improving the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the organization and associated support functions using records, reports, forms, directives, and management processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Knowledge of rules, procedures or operations applied to assignments and to perform non-routine and procedural work, such as preparing and editing documents, managing programs, maintaining files/records, making arrangements and preparing official documents.
2. Knowledge of management and/or program analysis technical rules, guidelines, regulations and precedents with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using tact, courtesy and diplomacy.
3. Knowledge of standard office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, printers and office automation systems and software to perform substantial range of office automation support.
4. Knowledge of the organization and its functions and programs to answer inquiries of a general nature, refer items of interest to responsible staff, appropriate protocol, subject-matter filing, receptionist duties and other general clerical practices to support office operations.
5. Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations and analytical functions.
6. Skill in typing; a qualified typist is required.
