This National Guard position is for a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Position Description Number NGT5741600 and is part of the 114 Mission Support Group. Title 5 Excepted Service. *** Indefinite Tenure- May be converted to Permanent per management discretion.*** This position is also advertised Title 32, only one will be selected.

Duties
As a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR, GS-0303-07, you will:
This position is located at an Air National Guard (ANG) Group Commander's Support Staff (CSS) unit. The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the primary point of contact to the squadron commander/director for administrative support programs to include but not limited to task management, cybersecurity liaison (CL), Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Defense Travel System (DTS) administrator, drug demand reduction program, health care program, fitness program, Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts, security program, supply program, civilian timecard program and unit recognition program. Also serves as liaison with personnel flights on personnel issues and assists in oversight of organization manpower resource requirements.

Qualifications
General Experience Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
Specialized Experience: Must have 12 months experience in the competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities. Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants who have the 1 year of appropriate specialized experience, as indicated in the table, are not required by this standard to have general experience, education above the high school level, or any additional specialized experience to meet the minimum qualification requirements.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities (KSAs): Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a separate sheet(s) addressing the Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) and how they relate to work experience, education or training.
Skill in application of administrative and personnel regulations and procedures.
Skill in Microsoft Office programs and computer support to assist personnel in the navigation and management of websites.
Skill in providing excellent support and customer service to a diverse range of customers.
Knowledge of organizational structure in order to assess manpower authorizations and utilization.
** NOTE ** This is a temporary appointment with Indefinite tenure. Management reserves the right to convert this appointment to a permanent position without further competition and will discuss this option with applicants selected for interviews. Person selected for the position may be terminated at any time, upon 30-day written notice. If an On-Board, Title 5, Excepted Service Employee is selected for this position, their status will change to that of this appointment, and they will not be returned to their permanent position.
