As the Mental Health and Resilience Program Manager for the Wellness and Resilience Branch you will leading the development and implementation of program support to seven geographically diverse regions and over 400 units of the National Park Service by promoting mental health and resilience across the National Park Service (NPS) employee base.

Duties
Serves as the primary authority to NPS leadership on mental health and resilience
Oversees the strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive national mental health and resilience program
Designs, modifies, and implements effective, evidence-based tools, resources, trainings, and interventions based on current theory and research
Works collaboratively with internal programs and external partners to identify mental health resources and share best practices
Effectively communicates mental health and resilience-related topics to broad audiences

Qualifications
In order to be qualified for this position, you must possess:
A Bachelor's or higher degree with a major or equivalent in psychology - AND -
One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, developing mental health/resilience program plans for an organization; providing professional guidance to others on best practices, tools, or techniques related to mental health concerns; creating resources for employees to educate/inform them of an organization's mental health support services; and evaluating mental health program services to identify ways to improve their effectiveness, align them with professional standards, or increase their visibility within an organization.
Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect full and/or part-time or total number of hours worked (i.e., work 40+ hours a week, rather than indicating full-time). If part-time, the hours must be annotated to be able to pro-rate the amount of qualified specialized experience.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
