Duties
As a member of the Grants Management Division, the incumbent serves as the Supervisory Grants Management Specialist responsible for all aspects of Federal Financial agreements administered for NIST and other Department of Commerce Bureaus, including but not limited to programs funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022. Duties include develop policies and procedures, strategic planning, process improvements, maintain effective and efficient workload management and productivity, manage and utilize staff resources to efficiently and effectively accomplish the NIST mission, actively involved in the planning, development and execution of formal and informal projects, and coach employees through development of performance plans, continuous feedback on performance, performance appraisals, and resolution of performance deficiencies.

Qualifications
One year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the ZA-III level (GS-13 equivalent). Specialized experience is defined as experience providing oversight of administration, review and monitoring of grants and/or cooperative agreements for compliance with award terms; providing advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders regarding grants policies, regulations and administration; leading a team by developing and formulating policies and procedures to manage administration of grants and/or cooperative agreements.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
