Duties
Responsible for implementing and overseeing 341 FSS content/social media program strategy.
Under the direct supervision of the Marketing Director, within guidelines, develops FSS strategy and implements tactical plans including building traffic, inciting engagement and growing community social media involvement, and tracking and reporting metrics.
Responsible for creating, editing, publishing, administering, and removing social media content.
Prepares video presentations to promote FSS events and activities.
Maintains social media content including, but not limited to; Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
Tracks user analytics for each social media platform.
Continuously explores, recommends, uses, and optimizes communication methods and technologies to engage with customers and to maximize the squadron's branding, products, and services.
Identifies relevant new strategies and technology to increase customer engagement and to create online brand exposure.
Makes use of a variety of artistic techniques through video/design software for digital media.
Administers surveys, focus groups, collects data, tabulates responses, and assists the Marketing Director in analyzing results.
Makes recommendations to the Marketing Director on program modifications and enhancements.
Assists the Marketing Director in developing communication strategies to determine the most effective and efficient method of reaching the target market.
Assists in the distribution of publicity materials to all activities.
Assists Commercial Sponsorship Coordinator with advertising execution and scheduling, and administrative duties, including writing agreements, sending solicitations and creating Entry Authorization Letters.
Assists marketing with promotion schedules and publicity. Ability to work in a fast-changing environment where you must be flexible and learn quickly.
Must be mobile and may be subject to irregular duty hours for event coverage after hours and weekends to offer media support/live streaming to our social media platforms.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience or education which demonstrates skills in multi-channel marketing and social media management.
Working knowledge of design/publishing software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and/or Premiere Pro or similar required.
Active practitioner of social media and networking platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and their respective participants.
Must possess a broad understanding of social media trends/technologies and research/analytic tools.
Must be creative, detail oriented, and accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines.
Must be able to produce media without grammatical errors and have the ability to take well composed quality photographs/video with a digital camera.
Must be able to work some nights and weekends, if necessary.
