This position is located at the Pawnee Indian Health Center, Pawnee, OK. The Primary purpose of this position is to perform labor/maintenance work which involves the use of common hand tools, requires moderately heavy physical effort, and general maintenance tasks. Incumbent will report to the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor.

Duties

Perform a variety of plumbing, carpentry, painting, air conditioning and refrigeration, masonry, and plastering duties. Use hand and power tools and equipment when performing various trade duties. Maintain facility grounds by use of lawn mower, weed trimmer, tractor, snow removal, garbage control, fence repair. Shovel snow from steps, sidewalks and driveways. Apply salt or other ice control materials to steps and sidewalks. Load and unload heavy boxes, cartons, furniture, etc. by hand, truck or dolly; open crates or boxes using crowbars and cuts bands using shears; stack supplies and materials where directed.
