As a Property Disposal Specialist (Marketing), you will independently plan, prepare and conduct sales of personal exchange/sale property or personal property declared surplus to national Federal and State requirements. Location: Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Personal Property Management Division, Sales Branch.   The office is located within a warehouse environment at 6808 Loisdale Road, Bldg. A, Suite 2 Springfield, VA 22150.

Duties

The Sales Branch provides sales services to the Federal Government for surplus, seized and forfeited or non-excess personal property with a continuing need under the Exchange/Sale authority

Requirements

• US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
• Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
• Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
• Register with Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959
• Direct Deposit of salary check to financial organization required.

Specialized experience is defined as experience in performing a wide range of personal property disposal work including sales or exchange of personal property declared surplus according to Federal and State requirements while using principles and concepts associated with sales and marketing. In addition to the qualification requirements listed above, you must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Sales Contracting Officer's warrant.
