You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CENTER (MCAGCC) / MARINE AIR GROUND TASK FORCE TRAINING COMMAND (MAGTFTC), Supply Section, Operations Branch, Communication and Data Directorate of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.

Duties
You will maintain supply files in a database to track information needed for reports and briefings.
You will query automated supply systems extracting information to resolve data discrepancies, respond to questions, provide status, or verify information.
You will maintain customers' accounts (e.g., keep record of customer interaction and transactions, comments, complaints) to follow up on any ongoing issues.
You will contact vendors to obtain or negotiate prices, delivery, discount terms, transportation, or other order provisions.
You will prepare requisitions and other documents to process supply transactions.
You will review supply items not available in the supply system to fulfill customer demands and validate requests.
You will purchase supplies using a government credit card.
You will speak to a customer regarding inquiries on the status of requisitions, delivery of material, and other supply related questions.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing automated supply systems or programs AND knowledge of supply regulations, policies, and procedures to perform supply support duties including: researching, preparing, maintaining supply records; determining supply needs and maintaining inventory; AND resolving losses, damages, and discrepancies.
GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: entering, correcting, and retrieving data; providing supply, fiscal, and logistical support; and utilizing automated supply databases.

- Successful completion of 4 years above high school OR
- Possess a combination of specialized experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal 100 percent.
Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience.
