This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Prepare a variety of production planning and control reports reflecting cost expenditures. Identify key activities or events involved in the program to determine which to monitor. Perform duties such as request and induct assets for production orders. Coordinate with responsible staff and operating officials to resolve problems. Review the status of planned, active and outstanding requirements on a project to aid in project maintenance and program closure.

• This position has a data analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for data analytics level 1 certification within 12 months of being placed on the position.

GS-05: One year of specialized experience which includes assist and research the root cause of material shortages and outages; loading and updating of files automated system for the purpose of moving assets, production reporting, and parts management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04). OR Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
