You will serve as a STUDENT CONTROL SUPPORT ASSISTANT (OA) in the STUDENT CONTROL DEPARTMENT (N5) of TRAWING FIVE.
Duties
You will provide general administrative support to the Student Control Department.
You will provide customer service etiquette to Instructor Pilots (IP) and Student Naval Aviators (SNA).
You will ensure that all Naval Flight Training events have been properly documented in the Tango Sierra Hotel Aviation Readiness Program (T-SHARP) and Aviation Training Jackets (ATJ).
You will prepare and edit written correspondence, ensuring proper use of English grammar, spelling and punctuation.
You will utilize automated software from multiple resources, in generating reports, briefing materials and maintenance/preservation of the command Matrix database.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support by utilizing office automation software to create or maintain manual and electronic records in a training environment.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
