Duties

INTRODUCTION: This position is located within the Semper Fit Division of MCCS and reports to the Recreation Supervisor. This position is responsible for assisting in the coordination and execution of a comprehensive base-wide programs focusing on quality-of-life advocacy, recreation, and community involvement/volunteerism, targeting active-duty service members aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (MCAS Miramar).

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Three years of professional recreational work experience that demonstrates broad knowledge of administrative practices and principles and demonstrates knowledge of the goals, philosophy, principles, techniques, and procedures used in organizing, planning, administering, and conducting recreational activities. Bachelor¿s degree in recreation or related field highly desirable and may replace some work experience. Must have knowledge of Marine Corps and MCCS systems. Must possess a valid driver¿s license.
