You will serve as a PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the INFORMATION RESOURCES DIVISION (IRD), DEPUTY COMMANDANT FOR INFORMATION (DCI) of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
This position with support the Director of IRD, and their associated staff for program and administrative duties. Additional support for other Executive directors or DCI leadership as directed.
Duties
You will serve as the confidential assistant, scheduler, and consultant on executive administrative matters for the aforementioned Executive Directors and additional executive support for the Lieutenant General and the Assistant DCI.
You will receive visitors and telephone calls on behalf of the Executive Directors.
You will independently research policy or procedural changes to determine applicability and to identify the best course of action for implementation.
You will prepare and generate reports and maintains records to include assisting in sharepoint online management of files and folders.
You will maintain the director's schedule and coordinates official travels.
You will ensure appointments are scheduled for all meetings, briefings, conferences, interviews, speaking engagements, working breakfasts and luncheons, every event that occurs during the business day and events occurring on the weekend/after-hours.
You will provide general administrative and specialized program support for executive directors and DCI leadership as directed.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting, scheduling, and consulting on administrative matters; providing administrative support to three higher level leaders; assembling, editing, and preparing papers for publication by using various computer programs; and making travel arrangements for leader.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
or
Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Percentage of the required education plus percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
