About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. Duties

Implement solutions to management to ensure shorter lead times and resource efficiency. Follow process management designs to ensure organizational protocol is met. Evaluate Lean data in process improvement programs for effectiveness. Use Lean Six Sigma tools to solve these problems on a structural level. Utilize methodologies to help organizations visually map out process workflows.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
• Position may be converted to permanent without further competition.
• Position may be filled as a detail NTE.
