As a Director for Public Affairs Digital Services, you will direct the agency's Public Affairs Digital Services program. This position is located in Public Affairs Digital Services in Washington, DC.

Duties

As a Director for Public Affairs Digital Services, you will: Direct the development and management of websites and web-based applications, which inform public opinion concerning the agency's critical mission and services. Lead and oversee the development of digital content products and services with effective design, organization, usability, and accessibility to deliver trusted customer experiences. Digital communication technologies include hardware and software tools such as websites, web applications, structured datasets. streaming videos; e-mail broadcasting systems, on-line interactive multimedia, mobile technology, search tools, podcasting; blogging, and emerging digital tools. Develop and execute digital communication strategies that align with the agency's goals and objectives. Represent the Senior Deputy Comptroller, Chief of Staff and Public Affairs Office on cross-agency committees and working groups related to digital communications. Establish and evaluate systems, methods, and processes necessary to successfully operate and maintain the websites and all supporting functions and applications. Lead technical and services procurement efforts together with the Acquisition Management (AQM) and Information Technology Services (ITS) Divisions. Review the work of team members for technical accuracy and timeliness in meeting customers' needs and encourages employees to develop creative and practical solutions to problems.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-VI band level or GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. An example of specialized experience for this position includes: Leading the design, development, implementation and operations of an organization's websites and other web applications that communicate the organization's mission, goals and activities to the public. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To receive any credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/year, and indicate the number of hours worked per week, on your resume.
