About the Position: Incumbent serves as a Engineering Technician (Civil), responsible for application of practical engineering knowledge in performance of office engineering and clerical work.
Duties
Edits, types, and proofs all correspondence in support of the construction contracts administered by the office.
Serves as liaison between District, Area, and Resident Offices- Provides information to all employees on matters relating to employment, insurance, appraisals, pay, leave, retirement, work schedules etc.
Reviews automated inventory of all property for which the supervisor is accountable.
Serves as Training Coordinator, researching each employee's past training plan.
Assists new employees with required paperwork and completes exit documents.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes preparing, organizing, and maintaining project and personnel files, monitoring budget expenditures, editing correspondence, and timekeeping. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
