Duties
This position is located under the Office of Human Resource and Professional Development, Human Resources Operations Division, Payroll Processing and Operations Branch in Washington, District of Columbia.
Qualifications
GS-07 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties:
Researching, Interpreting and Applying personnel policies and procedures; AND
Inputting and Retrieving recurring data using an automated system; AND
Providing clear and concise communications to others in writing and/or orally.
OR
Completion of 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement. OR A combination of graduate education and experience. This will be calculated using your résumé and unofficial transcripts or a list of courses/course hours submitted with your application.GS-09 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties:GS-09
Utilizing automated personnel systems to process personnel information and resolve problems; AND
Applying knowledge of a variety of automated personnel systems such as HRConnect, Electronic Onboarding System (EOS), NFC and eVerify, and pay setting laws and rules for personnel actions; AND
Performing basic analytical and research to resolve personnel actions.
OR
Have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D., if related.
