As a Supervisory National Bank Examiner (Assistant Deputy Comptroller) for National Trust Banks, you will advise the Deputy Comptroller on bank supervision matters and manage supervisory activities associated with a select portfolio of nationwide limited purpose trust companies and insured, full-service national banks with significant asset management related activities. Midsize and Community Bank Supervision MTBS National Trust Banks Relocation is only authorized for Washington, DC or Chicago

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-VI band level. Examples of specialized experience for this position include: Planning, scheduling, and monitoring bank and thrift supervisory activities; or Managing or leading teams engaged in bank and thrift supervisory activities; or Serving as an advisor or consultant to management on bank and thrift supervisory problems, issues, and other technical matters. AND Selective factor: If full UCE (e.g., cross-credentials) is required: You must also possess a National Bank Examiner (NBE) commission reflecting that you are authorized to sign Reports of Examinations (ROEs) for national banks and federal savings associations. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To receive any credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/year, and indicate the number of hours worked per week, on your resume.
