Duties
You will serve as the Division Head in the Logistics Business Systems Division (01D50) Naval Information Warfare Center, Atlantic.
You be responsible for monitoring the technical requirements, risks, cost, schedule, and performance of all products and services supporting customers of the Division.
You will identify projects risks, problems, issues and concerns and formulate mitigation plans and/or corrective actions.
You will determine and manage project resource requirements, assess and forecast resource demand signals for projects/IPTs.
You will perform supervisory functions such as time and attendance, travel approval/certification, performance assessments, resource planning, and workforce training/development and mentoring.
You will lead the oversight, management, and supervision of multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in the execution of complex software and Enterprise IT systems programs/projects supporting the Navy's Logistics Business Systems.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 802 level Intermed/Journeyman within 12 months of appointment.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Plan and manage cost, schedule, performance and technical execution supporting project acquisition, integration, testing, software, cybersecurity, risk and configuration management requirements.
Your experience in the information technology field must reflect skills in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
