This position is located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection, San Francisco of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of compliance and consumer protection.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Basic Requirement: Candidates must be a Commissioned (Compliance) Examiner in the FDIC or another organization with comparable commissioning criteria to that used by FDIC's Division of Depositor & Consumer Protection (DCP).
CG-13: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GC-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience reviewing and analyzing examinations of insured depository institutions; or performing Compliance; or Community Reinvestment Act examinations.
CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GC-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience reviewing and analyzing examinations of insured depository institutions or performing complex Compliance and CRA examinations.
