This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, San Francisco Regional Office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and supports risk management of highly complex financial institutions.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Applicant must hold a commission as a bank examiner in Risk Management.
In addition to the Basic Qualification requirement, applicants must meet specialized experience requirements for the position as described:
To qualify at the CG-14 level: Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 13 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience conducting examinations of complex institutions and providing technical advice, counsel and guidance to staff regarding special situations, complex examinations, or significant regulatory applications.
To qualify at the CG-15 level: Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 14 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience conducting examinations of complex institutions and providing technical advice, counsel and guidance to staff regarding special situations, complex examinations, or significant regulatory applications; participating in interagency studies of the financial industry; and serving as subject matter expert in evolving banking and examination issues.
