About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army Installation Management Command, IMCOM Directorate - Office of the Garrison Commander - Sustainment Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall.
Duties
Direct overall planning, development, implementation, execution of programs, providing coordination/guidance to supported Army Command elements and other applicable installations/organizations.
Plan, direct, and maintain an integrated and balanced program encompassing the financial management complex, ensuring that overall priorities are appropriately funded and ensuring optimum utilization of resources to achieve mission accomplishment.
Provide a full range of operations to include safety, security, financial management, contracting services, military personnel, morale and welfare, community affairs, engineering, housing, health and emergency services, and other varied activities.
Direct the work of a complex organizational administrative program responsible for the regulatory, administrative, policy development, training, budget, manpower, and logistical/technical support and programs.
Directs the establishment of goals and objectives, work planning and organization, work assignments, and personnel management responsibilities.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station, including the Garrison Headquarters for meetings, appointment boards, etc. approximately 25% of the time.
- This position is subject to pre-employment drug screening and random testing thereafter to obtain and maintain employment in this position.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation
- Position may be designated as Mission Essential in order to perform essential duties defined as critical and essential regardless of weather conditions, emergency situations, or general dismissal.
- This is a centrally managed position and may be subject to rotational assignments based on needs of the command. You are required to sign a Mobility Agreement.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience coordinating and integrating projects or program segments of professional, scientific, technical, managerial, or administrative work; making major recommendations to leadership which have a direct and substantial effect on the organization and projects managed including significant internal and external program and policy issues; and determining long range goals, objectives, plans, and schedules to meet substantial changes in legislation, program authority, and/or funding. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
